About the Role
As a Software Engineer in the Integrations & Automations team, you will work at the intersection of AI infrastructure and core 3D platform technology. The role balances two primary responsibilities:
- Engineering: Building APIs, AI agent tooling, and custom data pipelines to connect the platform with enterprise customer systems.
- Developer Enablement: Serving as a technical subject matter expert for external developers and partners using open APIs and integrations.
This is a growth-oriented role designed for engineers with strong fundamentals and curiosity. You will be paired with senior engineers from day one, starting on well-defined tasks and taking on greater ownership as you advance.

What You’ll Do
Build
- Develop and expand AI agent tooling using Model Context Protocol (MCP) to enable LLMs to interact directly with platform products.
- Enhance Python plugin and scripting APIs to automate workflows for clients and partners.
- Build custom data integration pipelines in collaboration with Customer Success teams and enterprise clients.
- Write and maintain automated test suites to ensure high system reliability and integration quality.
Support & Enable
- Act as the technical expert for open APIs, answering developer queries regarding endpoints, parameters, expected outputs, and code samples.
- Own and maintain accurate open API documentation across all platform releases.
- Build internal AI-assisted tools (e.g., using LLMs) to streamline support ticketing, draft responses, and automate status updates.
Requirements (Must Have)
- Solid programming fundamentals in TypeScript/JavaScript or Python, with a willingness to work in both.
- Active use of, or eagerness to adopt, AI coding assistants (such as Claude Code or Codex) as part of your daily workflow.
- Solid understanding of HTTP/REST API concepts (requests, responses, status codes, JSON).
- Comfort with Git and collaborative code-review workflows.
- Clear written and spoken English for direct communication across teams and with external developers.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent practical experience (bootcamp, internships, side projects).
Nice to Have
- Hands-on experience with both TypeScript and Python.
- Practical exposure to LLM agents, MCP tools, or AI developer infrastructure.
- Basic exposure to C++ (sufficient to read existing code and write API wrappers).
- Familiarity with gRPC, message queues (RabbitMQ), MongoDB/Redis, or Docker.
- Experience building or consuming APIs, SDKs, plugins, or writing developer documentation.
- Familiarity with 3D, CAD, or fashion-tech data formats.
