Responsibilities:

Help drive the Engineering Strategy to focus on Cloud, API, SRE, and the Digital Platform and foster innovation programs across the domain teams
Ensure high-quality code and data, good practices, and continuous
Provide specialist technical knowledge and experience, championing DevOps and Agile
Monitor and improve engineers’
Provide support in the identification and resolution of all incidents associated with the IT
Ensure service resilience, service sustainability, and recovery time objectives are met for all the software solutions delivered.
Keep up to date and have expertise on current tools, technologies, and areas like cyber security and regulations about aspects like data privacy, consent, data residency, etc. that are applicable.
Provide training and development opportunities where

Requirements:

10 years or more overall IT experience with Java, cloud technologies such as AWS
Experience with web-based technologies- framework, HTML5, CSS
Experience with Web Services (REST, SOAP)
Knowledge of XML, JSON, Swagger
Skills and capabilities in API Architecture and API Engineering with in-depth knowledge of REST, API Gateways, Management Platforms, cloud-native stack
Expertise in using Spring Boot to build and design APIs
Technical background that can be demonstrated within the teams
Ability to make technical decisions by staying abreast of advancements in related technologies
Excellent knowledge of the project lifecycle, and Agile/DevOps software engineering models. An agile & DevOps evangelist who can help mature the organization
