The application is available in both web and mobile versions. It easily enables the integration of internal company systems, customer databases, internal customer calendars, and other messengers, all available on your smartphone! The application is dedicated to companies from various industries (SaaS).

The role:

As a Customer Solutions Engineer, you are responsible for collaborating with customers to discover, design, and implement technical solutions that maximize product value, with a strong focus on integrations. You are a key member of the Customer Solutions team, working across all customer phases to apply your deep technical expertise and product knowledge to ensure customer success. With a passion for developing solutions, you thrive on solving complex technical challenges and creating meaningful, scalable integrations that meet evolving customer needs.

You excel at managing multiple customer projects simultaneously and are confident in recommending and implementing effective integration solutions that deliver value for both the customer and the company. Self-motivated and collaborative, you work closely with sales, product management, and engineering teams to address challenges and deliver seamless technical outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the discovery and development of technical solutions, focusing on building and enhancing integrations that bring measurable value to customers
  • Manage the technical rollout of customers during onboarding, with a strong focus on configuring and customizing integrations using Workato (our iPaaS platform)
  • Design and implement complex integration solutions that connect external systems (e.g., HR, payroll, LMS) via APIs and synchronization methods such as SFTP, REST, and SOAP
  • Install, configure, and support Marketplace apps, particularly those requiring advanced integration capabilities
  • Collaborate with customers to gather technical requirements and translate them into actionable integration solutions
  • Serve as a technical advisor throughout the customer journey—from pre-sales through post-sales—supporting the success team with integration needs and identifying automation opportunities
  • Act as a liaison between customers, customer success, product, and engineering teams to provide actionable feedback on potential product enhancements
  • Continuously seek to improve integration processes and enhance the customer implementation experience
  • Contribute to internal knowledge-sharing by developing training materials and best practices for the customer success team

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in technical development or sales engineering, with a strong focus on integrations within a software/SaaS environment
  • Hands-on experience with Workato or similar iPaaS platforms to develop integrations and automate workflows
  • Solid understanding of integration technologies, including SSO (especially SAML 2.0), API development (REST, SOAP), and system synchronization (SFTP & batch processing)
  • Proven experience in building complex integrations using Python and related tools
  • Ability to manage technical implementation projects end-to-end, ideally in agile (Kanban) environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • A proactive problem-solver, focused on delivering reliable and impactful technical solutions
  • Eagerness to learn and a strong interest in emerging technologies, paired with a results-driven mindset
  • A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related STEM field is preferred, though not mandatory
  • C1 German
