We are looking for an Odoo Developer based in Kraków. This position supports teams across Europe in daily Odoo usage and contributes to the ongoing development of the ERP environment.
Requirements:
- Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a similar field.
- Initial experience or an internship involving Python development.
- Any exposure to Odoo (personal, academic, or professional projects) is highly advantageous.
- Familiarity with Git, Linux command line, and relational databases (ideally PostgreSQL).
- Good understanding of Python fundamentals.
- Basic knowledge of HTML, XML, and JavaScript.
- Interest in business processes such as Sales, Inventory, HR, and Supply Chain.
- Fluent English and Polish; French is a plus.
- Motivation to learn quickly and work with production-grade systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop small custom modules and enhancements within Odoo (custom fields, automations, reports, wizards, etc.).
- Modify existing modules, including views, models, and workflows.
- Work on technical tasks like scheduled actions, computed fields, and backend logic.
- Write clean and well-documented code aligned with Odoo best practices.
- Support testing activities: debugging, writing basic unit tests, and assisting with UAT.
- Collaborate with the functional team to ensure features are delivered smoothly.
- Use Git for version control and follow an agile-like development process.
- Work closely with various departments, logistics, retail operations, HR, and finance to understand needs and contribute to solution design.
- Participate in technical discussions and provide accurate time estimates.
