We’re looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Fullstack Software Engineer to take ownership of developing and maintaining Visual Studio Code extensions for our proprietary programming language used in high-frequency trading (HFT) algorithm development.

Your job will be to create a seamless development experience for our quant and trading teams, integrating editor tools with internal build and test infrastructure. Future work may include real-time market data analysis tooling, strategy diagnostics, and custom visualizations. You’ll be working at the intersection of performance, finance, and developer experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain VS Code extensions for an internal programming language

  • Integrate the language tooling with internal build/test systems

  • Potentially develop tools for real-time data analysis, strategy diagnostics, and visualization

  • Collaborate with quant researchers, traders, and infrastructure engineers

  • Solve complex engineering problems in a high-performance environment

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering (full stack/frontend/backend)

  • Strong knowledge of TypeScript and Node.js

  • Ability to write clean, maintainable, and efficient code

  • Bonus points for experience with:

    • Visual Studio Code Extension API

    • Language Server Protocol (LSP)

  • Solid understanding of JavaScript fundamentals, including:

    • Prototypal inheritance

    • Event loop, call stack, and task queue

    • Promises vs callbacks

  • Bonus: experience with algorithmic trading or HFT systems

  • Independent, structured, and delivery-oriented mindset

The offer:

  • Attractive salary
  • Bonuses – 2 times a year, based on the financial result of the company and the performance of a given person. Depending on the level in the classification system and seniority, bonuses can range from 35%-75% of the annual salary. They are not guaranteed, but in the company’s 15-year history, there have only been 2 half-years without bonuses

  • Paid break in the provision of services – for consultants, 20 days of break in a year, fully paid.
