They have more than 300,000 users in 49 countries serving thousands of organizations globally.
Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the product roadmap and use it to bring purpose to the team and their backlog.
- Effectively scope and drive features and products, delivering timely updates.
- Deliver results within time and scope, providing visibility through regular reporting.
- Maintain accountability for the features and products owned.
- Develop deep software product knowledge within the area of ownership.
- Display an ownership mindset; be accountable for the features your team develops and beyond.
- Use independent judgment to develop strategic vision within multiple feature sets or domains.
- Implement operational policies and directives.
- Validate resource utilization to ensure efficient deployment of team members.
- Tackle significant and unique issues where analysis of situations or data requires consideration of intangibles and provide direction on actions to be taken.
- Manage the professional development of Managers and their teams, acting as the subject matter expert for the product features involved.
- Work collaboratively with Managers and their teams to identify and develop the talents of each individual.
- Maintain responsibility for building and leading multiple highly effective teams of software engineers, working with departmental contacts to support departmental demands and meet product development objectives. Keep the team’s vision aligned with the bigger picture.
- Serve as a technology advisor to the business on all aspects of software technology trends and novel solutions specific to their domain or feature set.
- Stay on top of the latest technological progress and use this knowledge to ensure company products and software solutions remain marketable and competitive.
- Be a subject matter expert in your product area.
- Use long-term strategic thinking to guide and develop teams to help them meet overall product goals.
- Exercise significant latitude in determining objectives and approaches to critical assignments.

Qualifications:
- Seven or more years of experience managing software product development teams.
- Excellent knowledge of software engineering disciplines, including the latest programming languages, object-oriented programming, native cloud patterns, fault-tolerant distributed systems, data structures and algorithms, distributed database modeling, and access languages.
- Experience in DevOps culture and data-driven mindset
- Strong teamwork, negotiation, influencing, and partnering skills for cross-group collaboration
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to perform under pressure and optimize team resources to achieve business goals.
- Ability to motivate people, instill accountability, and achieve results.
- In-depth knowledge of agile product development methodologies.
- Strong verbal, presentation, and written communication skills for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Prior experience with billing/pricing systems and knowledge of data warehouse architecture will be a plus
