  • Salary: Up to 14 000 PLN

We are looking for a Support Engineer for the company offering complex track and trace solutions for big manufacturers that provide the assurance of authenticity during the whole production lifecycle of the luxury goods (tobacco, pharma, spirits, sportswear, etc.). 

You’ll be responsible for the on-site 2nd and 3rd Level Support of the company’s product for one of the biggest players in the tobacco industry and you will provide help with the whole product-implementation process (installation and set-up, participation in the test process, writing documentation related to the user guides, global help-desk).

Responsibilities:

  • Performing second-level application support for Customers
  • Support the integration of our solution in various industries and Customers
  • Being the contact point for First-level support
  • Logging, categorizing, and prioritizing support requests (or reviewing already logged support requests)
  • Performing investigation and diagnosis
  • Investigate logs/traces on Windows systems
  • Summarizing the outcome of the investigation and diagnosis with all gathered information and artifacts
  • Performing proactive monitoring and following applicable event monitoring checklists to take appropriate action
  • Maintaining/improving checklists and knowledge base content
  • Under the Product Owner’s supervision, analyze, test, debug, and maintain the company’s Suite components

Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience in Software or IT environment
  • Good SQL knowledge
  • Good understanding of network protocols (TCP/UDP)
  • Good understanding of SSL certificates and their configuration
  • Troubleshooting skills –> ability to select appropriate monitoring tools and investigate logs/traces on Windows systems.
  • Experience in supporting business applications
    • Understanding of industrial application is a plus
  • Good knowledge of the Windows environment, including Windows Server
  • Customer-oriented, solution-oriented, and problem-solving skills
    • Work well under pressure
  • Strong communication skills (oral and written)
  • Willingness to travel from time to time
  • Very good English level (speaking and writing)
