Our client’s mission is to increase operational efficiency by reducing marine fuel consumption and making vessels more eco-friendly.
We are looking for a talented and motivated DevOps Engineer to join our client’s dynamic team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be critical in designing, implementing, and maintaining their cloud-based applications’ infrastructure and deployment pipelines. You will work closely with the development and operations teams to ensure smooth and efficient software delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage the deployment pipelines and infrastructure using Kubernetes and Azure.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and automate the deployment, monitoring, and scaling processes.
- Ensure high availability, reliability, and security of our cloud-based applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to infrastructure, deployments, and performance.
- Continuously improve the automation and monitoring tools to streamline the development and deployment process.
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices in DevOps, cloud computing, and platform engineering.
Requirements:
- Strong experience with Kubernetes and Azure.
- Experience in one or more programming languages such as Python, Java, C#, C++, Go, etc.
- Proficiency in managing both Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Strong sense of ownership and accountability for tasks and deliverables.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.
- Willingness to continuously learn and adapt to new technologies and industry trends.
Nice to have:
- Familiarity with AWS services and their corresponding management tools.
- Experience with Azure DataBricks for data engineering and analytics.
- Knowledge of network management at a CCNA level.
