- Position: Platform Engineer (Azure)

We are looking for a Platform Engineer (Azure) to join the most exciting project in Krakow. Their mission is to bring customer experience to another level. Personalization of the content is key to being number one in video commerce, e-commerce and mobile commerce. Most of their business is in the US right now (that is why they have over 500 tech people on board there). They have offices in China, Japan, the UK, Italy, Germany and now in Krakow, Poland.
Key responsibilities:
- Design, deploy, and maintain Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters to support our containerized applications.
- Implement best practices for AKS security, monitoring, and performance optimization.
- Collaborate with development teams to automate deployment processes using tools like Helm and Azure DevOps.
- Troubleshoot and resolve AKS-related issues and ensure high availability of services.
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or Azure Resource Manager to provision and manage infrastructure resources.
- Maintain and version control IaC templates to ensure consistency and reproducibility of deployments.
- Work closely with the AI team to understand their requirements and assist in the integration of AI solutions into our platform.
- Collaborate on data ingestion, model deployment, and AI pipeline automation.
- Help in building scalable and reliable AI infrastructure components.
- Develop and implement monitoring solutions for infrastructure and AI components to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Proactively identify scalability bottlenecks and work on scaling solutions as needed.
- Share knowledge and mentor team members on AKS and AI technologies.
Experience:
- Minimum 2 years of proven experience in designing, deploying, and managing AKS clusters and PaaS environments
- Strong knowledge of containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages such as Python, PowerShell, or Bash
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or Azure Resource Manager
- Familiarity with cloud platforms, especially Microsoft Azure
- Experience with on-premises infrastructure technologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Azure certifications (e.g., Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps Engineer) are a plus
- Nice to have: experience with MS SQL and AI and machine learning concepts and technologies.
