THE ROLE:
We are looking for C Developer (Radio FW for IoT) who will be part of international Core team (of 8 people) which is responsible for building services and integrating devices from Zigbee and possibly soon Matter networks into a high-level system. You will be in charge of developing Silicon Labs SDK-based firmware following Zigbee 3.0 standard.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
– Developing IoT Radio FW using Silicon Labs SDK
– Porting application to the most recent SDK
– Improving monitoring of devices reachability in the Zigbee network
– Research: Investigate possibility to employ RCP solution from the Silicon Labs to run Matter and Zigbee networks simultanously
– Adding new features and improving existing ones
– Designing and developing IoT edge software modules that interact with sensors, and wireless communication devices
– Designing software architecture and developing components required to communicate device to device & device to cloud
– Rigorous revision controls of the software
– Troubleshooting errors in wireless networks
– Performing hands-on development and troubleshooting on embedded system
– Contributing to maintaining high communication uptime for each device
– Being capable of working unattended in a multilayer architecture once given clear direction
– Discussing your ideas within a team to get the best solutions
– Training and possibility of learning Go
REQUIREMENTS:
– Minimum 3 years of active development experience in C with safe coding skills
– Experience with at least 2 projects
– Theoretical knowledge of wireless communication (university or hands-on experience)
– Practical experience with at least one of the wireless technologies like Zigbee/Thread (mostly prefered togheter with any other 802.15.4 based protocol) but also any other like Z-Wave, Bluetooth, Wi-Sun might be sufficient.
– Strong command of English
– Willingness to do some research regarding Matter technology and Radio coprocessor (RCP)
– Ability to work unattended on the project destined for one person

– Experience with firmware from Silicon Labs
– Experience in porting applications to different SDK versions
– General knowledge of operating systems
